Best beach on Zante! Sep 2020. Deep clean sandy beach and bottom, shallow for kids, then deep and interesting underwater landscape or snorkeling. Very comfortable sunbeds at 10 or 12 euros a pair for the day. Super clear water, lots of fish. Stay away from the water sports side of the beach and you're fine.

2nd trip to hydra and swam only under sunset restaurant. Wanted to see other side of island. There's a local boat across from clock tower in port that goes to st Nicholas beach a few times a day. Round trip is 18 euros a person. Take water shoes due to rocks but beautiful water and nice accommodations. Lounge chairs 10 euros each.
